PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thermal spraying roll coated with a WC cermet, which has adequate corrosion resistance even in such a corrosive environment as to have a pH of 3.0 or less, has a coating with superior adhesiveness, and has a low material cost.;SOLUTION: This thermal spraying roll comprises: a sack body of the roll; a Ni-based plated layer on the surface; a WC-cermet-sprayed layer thereon, which contains 0.05 mass% or less Fe; and a sealing layer formed of at least one resin selected from an epoxy-based resin, a silicone-based resin and a polyester-based resin, on the WC-cermet-sprayed layer.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
