PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize a corresponding function of an operated apparatus by the so-called continuous pushing operation of a remote control transmitter, even if an infrared remote control signal is transmitted to the operated apparatus via a wired transmission line with a slow transmission rate.;SOLUTION: If an operation key of a remote control transmitter 12 is manipulated for continuous pushing operation, the remote control transmitter 12 transmits a corresponding remote control signal 22 repeatedly with a period T0. The remote control signal 22 is received and analyzed by a remote control receiver 14, and it is retransmitted as a remote control signal 24 from a remote control re-transmitter 16 via a wired transmission line 20. Since the transmission rate of the wired transmission line 20 is slow, all data of the received remote control signal 22 cannot be transmitted. Accordingly, the remote control re-transmitter 16 transmits the remote control signal 24 according to the previous data repeatedly in an interpolated fashion with a period T0, until next data are received from the wired transmission line 20.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
