PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an automatic address setting method of facility devices which can automatically set addresses for facility devices connected successively through a communication path to a control apparatus in order from the up-front stage to the aftermost stage without overlapping, as well as other related techniques.;SOLUTION: Each facility device concerned allows a high-frequency signal to be input to the facility device of the next stage by superposing a high frequency in the communication path between the device concerned and the device of the next stage, while an address is not set in the device concerned. When an address setting instruction signal output from the control apparatus is input and the high-frequency signal is not input to the device concerned, the device concerned sets the address according to the input address setting instruction signal and stops the superposition of the high frequency to the device of the next stage so that the device of the next stage can be ready for address setting. Upon completion of the address setting based on the output address setting instruction signal, the control apparatus repeats the operation for outputting the address setting instruction signal for setting the next address.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT
