PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a horizontally laid external facing structure, its construction method and a horizontally laid external facing material for firmly and positively connecting and mounting the horizontally laid external facing material disposed downstream/upstream.;SOLUTION: In this horizontally laid external facing structure, the horizontally laid external facing material 1 having a downstream side forming part 3 and an upstream side forming part 4 that can be mutually engaged with the downstream/upstream side of a face plate part 2 is laid using a holding member 5. The upstream side forming part 4 of the horizontally laid external facing material 1 comprises an elastically deforming part on the upstream side of a held part held by the holding member 5, and the downstream side forming part 3 and the upstream side forming part 4 of the horizontally laid external facing material 1 in a laid state are elastically brought into contact therewith at multiple positions.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
