PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent any trouble attributable to burrs formed on an edge of a core piece part when a space part is formed in a core embedded in a weather strip. PSOLUTION: A plurality of space parts 24 are formed by the punching at predetermined intervals in the longitudinal direction of a core material, and a core 16 having the shape with a core piece part 22 and a space part 24 being alternately provided in the longitudinal direction is fed to straightening rollers 38.
