METHOD FOR INDUCING PHASE-TRANSITION OF PEROVSKITE-TYPE OXIDE, PEROVSKITE-TYPE OXIDE USED AS ELECTRONIC FUNCTIONAL ELEMENT MATERIAL, ELECTRONIC FUNCTIONAL ELEMENT AND ELECTRONIC DEVICE USING PEROVSKITE-TYPE OXIDE
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of inducing a phase transition of perovskite-type oxide for easily inducing a phase transition between an insulator phase and a metal phase of perovskite-type oxide which is a Mott insulator.;SOLUTION: The method of inducing the phase transition of perovskite-type oxide includes the steps of: causing a phase transition of perovskite-type oxide in an insulator phase from an insulator phase to a metal phase by applying an electric field having some 40-80 V/cm lower by two digits than a previous value of several kV/cm onto the perovskite-type oxide in an insulator phase (S101); and causing a phase transition of the perovskite-type oxide in a paramagnetic metallic phase to a ferromagnetic metallic phase by cooling the perovskite-type oxide changed to a metallic phase by being applied with an electric field (S102).;COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT
