PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a production method of a superior biodegradable foamed resin that is easily decomposed by an action of microbes to return into the soil, which facilitates waste treatment and is useful for global environment conservation.;SOLUTION: The production method of a biodegradable foamed resin comprises: adding and mixing at least one selected from a diol type liquid polyether or polyester or monoglycerides of higher fatty acids to at least one selected from Sorghum bicolor, glutinous Panicum miliaceum, glutinous foxtail millet and barnyard millet; adding a polyol-modified polyisocyanate to the obtained mixture; and stirring and heating the mixture to foam.
