PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing a base tire for suppressing the occurrence of failure in buffing for forming the base tire, a tread for retreading used for the base tire, and a retreated tire having the tread for treading stuck to the base tire. PSOLUTION: In the method for manufacturing the base tire 10, a buffed surface 10a is formed by scraping a tread part of the used tire. The base tire is manufactured by scraping both the ends in the width direction of the buffed surface 10a so as to highly position in the tire radial direction from the width direction. The tread 11 for retreading stuck to the buffed surface 10a of the base tire 10 manufactured by the method for manufacturing the base tire 10 is formed in the shape wherein the surface stuck to the buffed surface 10a is opposed to the buffed surface 10a, and the retreated tire is manufactured by sticking the tread for treading to the base tire 10.
