Location indication providing system for vehicle in automobile field, has portable object equipped with signal processing unit that processes signal delivered by inertial device for determining trajectories followed by portable object
The system has a portable object (1) provided to a user and arranged as a key holder. The portable object includes an inertial device (2) e.g. two-axes accelerometer, and a signal processing unit (6) that processes an acceleration indicating signal (5) delivered by the inertial device for determining trajectories (7, 7') followed by the portable object. The portable object has a trajectory storing unit (11), and a display screen (15) that restitutes the trajectories and information (14) used for finding a vehicle, to a user. An independent claim is also included for a method for providing indication relative to location of a vehicle, to a user of the vehicle.
