Air decontaminating modular furniture for use in e.g. operation theatre, has heat exchanger, electric fan and acoustic baffle assembly reducing noise of furniture and arranged inside sealed housing
The furniture (1) has a sealed housing to position the furniture in angles of a room. The housing draws foul air from the room at a lower part by a foul air inlet filter. The foul air is ejected into an upper part of the housing, using an electric fan, through a filter or openings provided in treated air outlet filters (102, 103). The treated air is sent directly in the room or in an arc box, after passage through a heat exchanger (12). The heat exchanger, the fan and an acoustic baffle assembly (14) reduce noise of the furniture, and are arranged inside the housing.
