The umbrella i.e. square umbrella (1), has a retractable roof (2) at top of a tubular mast (3), and a system comprising a ring (5) and strips (6) for opening or closing the roof by sliding the ring along the mast. The mast is integrated with a sprayer (9) that is removably arranged with respect to an outer cover of the mast in a manner to allow sliding of the ring along the mast. The mast comprises an upper tubular portion and a lower tubular portion, and a removable piece forms the sprayer, where the piece comprises an upper portion fixed in the upper tubular portion.
