Analog-digital conversion method for large band multicarrier analog signal in e.g. power line carrier communication system, involves weighting filtered analog signals by applying gains, and adding digital signals into unique signal
The method involves simultaneously filtering an analog signal (SA) along matrixes of determined frequency bands (BF-1-BF-N) for generating filtered analog signals (SAF-1-SAF-N). The filtered analog signals are weighted by applying gains (G-1-G-N) to them for generating weighted analog signals (SAA-1-SAA-N). Analog-digital conversions are carried out on the weighted analog signals for generating digital signals (SN-1-SN-N) by analog-digital converters (CAN-1-CAN-N). The digital signals are added into a unique digital signal (SN). An independent claim is also included for a multicarrier analog signal receiving device.
