The method involves determining a number of successive values of input parameters having incidence on output parameter values at given time. A matrix of distinct input parameter to be applied is generated by maximizing a distance between the vectors formed by lies of the matrix, where the matrix has number of successive values cross number of input parameter columns that are assigned to successive values of each input parameter and lines. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) a method for testing an internal combustion engine on an engine bed (2) a method for generating a digital operating module of an internal combustion engine (3) a method for generating a controlling cartography of an internal combustion engine.
