The device has a rigid plate comprising a curved part (2) and two right-angled edges, where the plate is placed in a dish assembly and is made of food-grade plastic. The plate is provided with a set of pews (5) on its surface to retain a meat to facilitate the cutting of meat, where the pews have notched or zig-zag shape. The pews have an edge (4) inclined at an angle of approximately 100 degrees with respect a surface of the pews. The edge forming a separation permits to collect foods such as rice or green pea in a fork.
