Impact e.g. low intensity impact, absorbing system for motor vehicle, has deformable monolithic assemblies connected by elastic strip that absorbs low intensity impacts at front face of vehicle, and radiator positioned between assemblies
The system (1) has deformable monolithic assemblies (2, 3) made of compressible material, where each assembly has a cellular structure. The assemblies are respectively arranged at ends of side rails (4, 5), and connected with each other by an elastic strip (6) that absorbs low intensity impacts at the level of a front face of a motor vehicle. The strip is adapted to a round shape of the front face, and supports a trim element of the front face. A radiator (9) is positioned between the assemblies, and maintained in position by a frame.
