Roller bearing assembly for guiding rotation of shaft in exhaust gas turbocharger, has cage with bridge pieces connecting rings of cage and defining pockets, where cage has upstream groove and downstream groove on both sides of each pocket
The assembly has an inner bush provided with a raceway bordered by shoulders including an annular cylindrical face and a flat radial face that guides rollers. A cage is coaxial to the inner bush and includes two rings (8a, 8b), where each ring includes an annular inner face (9) placed against the inner bush. The cage includes bridge pieces (10) connecting the rings and defining pockets (11) that receive the rollers, where the rollers are housed in the pockets. The cage includes an upstream groove (12a) and a downstream groove (12b) on both sides of each pocket.
