Computer aided designing method for architecture of e.g. aircraft navigation system, involves constructing architectural model of system using functional and non-functional analysis, and analyzing model by evaluating analysis rule on model
The method involves performing functional and non-functional analysis of a technical need to which a system e.g. hardware system such as aircraft navigation system, is responded. Analysis view points of an architecture of the system are modeled using the functional and non-functional analysis. An analysis rule of the architecture of the system is defined for each view point. An architectural model of the system is constructed using the functional and non-functional analysis. The architectural model is analyzed by evaluating the rule on the model.
