Image simulating method for beauty industry, involves deforming parametric models to adapt to contours of features on face, and detecting and analyzing cutaneous structure of areas of face by maximizing gradient flow of brightness
The method involves detecting and analyzing shapes, contours and/or dynamic components of a digital video image of a face. Characteristic points of the face e.g. corner of eyes and mouth, are extracted using preset parametric models. Specific parametric models are defined from the extracted points, where the models are used as initial breakdown points. The specific parametric models are deformed for adapting to contours of features present on the analyzed face. A cutaneous structure of areas of the face is detected and analyzed by maximizing gradient flow of brightness and/or chrominance.
