High concentration oxygen mask's nozzle for respiratory monitoring assembly, has sampling unit for sampling exhaust gas released by patient, and connected to determination device for determining respiratory frequency of patient
The nozzle (6) has a connection unit i.e. pipe (6-5), connected to an oxygen supplying unit (10) that supplies oxygen towards a flexible plastic bag (5). A sampling unit (6-6) samples exhaust gas released by a patient, and is connected to a determination device (14) for determining a respiratory frequency of the patient. The connection unit and the sampling unit extend from a base plate of the nozzle, where the base plate is in support against a seat (4-21) of a body (4) of an oxygen mask (2). A rib is in support against a wall of a collar of the mask body. An independent claim is also included for a high concentration oxygen mask with a body covering a nose and a mouth of a patient.
