The tank has refrigerating units (GF1, GF2) for cooling milk that circulates a refrigerant (FF) within a part of a wall of a cylindrical body, where the part of the wall is a bottom wall (21) of the body. The bottom wall is diametrically divided into two independent sections (210, 211), where the section (210) is linked to the refrigerating unit (GF1) and the section (211) is connected to the refrigerating unit (GF2). Each section is equipped with partitions (6, 6', 6'') forming a baffle plate, which extends parallel to weld lines (L, L'), from a periphery of the bottom wall.
