Scene observing device for e.g. defense field, has spectral separator reflecting beam in detection field and transmitting beam in another detection field so that beams of secondary detection field are reflected by pointing mirror
The device has a movable scan mirror (6) displacing a main detection field (4) to create a scene detection band (40). A movable pointing mirror (7) displaces a secondary detection field (5) in the band. A spectral separator (8) is situated optically between the mirror (6) and the pointing mirror (7). The separator reflects the beam in the detection field (4) and transmits the beam in the field (5) so that the beams of the detection field (5) are reflected by the mirror (7).
