Aircraft's dynamic stability margin determining method for e.g. determining flight stability, involves determining position based on angular frequency of oscillation of aircraft, where frequency is measured during flying of aircraft
The method involves calculating a position along a longitudinal axis of a manoeuvre point of an aircraft, for finding a distance between a manoeuvre point and another position (X-CG) along the axis of a center of gravity of the aircraft. The former position along the axis of the manoeuvre point is determined based on an angular frequency (omega-0) of incidence oscillation of the aircraft, where the angular frequency is measured during flying of the aircraft. An independent claim is also included for a dynamic stability margin determining device comprising a data acquisition unit.
