Unbalance detecting method for wheel of vehicle, involves determining unbalance of wheel of vehicle by evaluating sensor signal of yaw sensor at predetermined time interval
The method involves determining an unbalance by evaluating a sensor signal of a yaw sensor (G) at a predetermined time interval. An optical, an acoustic and/or a haptic warning signal is generated and/or an unbalance notification is stored in an error memory of a vehicle (F), when a detected sensor signal of the yaw sensor swings with a predetermined swinging frequency and a predetermined maximum amplitude exceeds, where the swinging frequency and the maximum amplitude are predetermined depending on an actual wheel speed of the vehicle. An independent claim is also included for a device for detecting an unbalance at a wheel of a vehicle.
