Functional unit e.g. illumination device, operating method for motor vehicle, involves operating operating functions of operating level, which lies below highest operating level, in voice-controlled manner and/or manually
The method involves structuring operating functions in a menu-type manner in a set of operating levels such that the functions of one of the levels are actuated by one of the operating functions of a higher operating level. The operating functions of a highest operating level are operated in a voice-controlled manner. The operating functions of an operating level lying below the highest level are operated in a voice-controlled manner and/or manually operated. A functional unit e.g. illumination device, is activated or deactivated by the operating functions of the highest operating level. An independent claim is also included for an operating device comprising a display unit.
