The device has a laminar housing (5) consisting of a cover-like element and partially folding walls, where a tire is arranged on the folding walls. A hollow space is provided with an electrical heating element (15) between an interior wall (11) and an external wall (13) of the housing, where the interior and externals walls are formed as two-wing opening doors. The heating element is designed as a heating foil, which exhibits a heating conductor in a foil-like plastic composite, where the heating foil is flexibly formed. The conductor is manufactured from metallic material, carbon or ceramic. An independent claim is also included for a method for facilitating demounting and mounting of tires.
