Data transmission device for use with e.g. paper feed roll, has resonant circuit whose resonance frequency is equal to center frequency of data frequency range or to arithmetic or geometrical mean value of threshold frequencies of range
The device has a secondary inductor (L1) coupled to a primary conductor. An adapter (1) connected to the inductor has a capacitor (C1) representing low-pass signals of the inductor. A signal processing unit is connected to an output (3) of the adapter to receive data signals in a data frequency range. The capacitor is retrofitted to a parallel resonant circuit by the inductor. A resonance frequency of the circuit is matched to the range and is equal to a center frequency of the range or to an arithmetic or geometrical mean value of upper and lower threshold frequencies of the range.
