摘要

The method for producing a high pressure fuel accumulator (2) with a body (1) having a main- (6) and a transverse hole (8), which flows into the main hole at an opening (10), comprises introducing and diverting a laser beam axially to the main hole of the body, so that ridge and/or edge is removed at the opening to produce a complete chamfer-shaped design of the opening. The diameter of transverse hole is smaller than the diameter of main hole. The laser beam is diverted by a mirror. A region of the opening processed by laser beam is actively cooled using air flow after the laser irradiation. An independent claim is included for a high pressure fuel accumulator.
