The method comprises casting and pre-rolling first and second slabs (2, 4) from a material provided for first and second layers, where the first and second slabs are laminarly and materially bonded with one another by roll-bonding. One of the slabs is provided with zones, which have a density reduced against the surrounding material, at one of their connecting sides before the roll-bonding. The zones with reduced density are produced by pores, chambers and/or cavities. Recesses (6) are incorporated in a connecting side of one of the slabs before the roll-bonding. The method comprises casting and pre-rolling first and second slabs (2, 4) from a material provided for first and second layers, where the first and second slabs are laminarly and materially bonded with one another by roll-bonding. One of the slabs is provided with zones, which have a density reduced against the surrounding material, at one of their connecting sides before the roll-bonding. The zones with reduced density are produced by pores, chambers and/or cavities. Recesses (6) are incorporated in a connecting side of one of the slabs before the roll-bonding, incorporated with an extension running in longitudinal direction and/or transverse direction of the slabs, and are symmetrically or asymmetrically arranged to each other on the connecting sides of the two slabs. A part of the pores, chambers and/or cavities is provided with a filler such as metal foam, metal sponges, mineral wool, sand, alumina, slag, granulated cinder, blast-furnace slags and expanded metal or metal lattices in a section-wise manner. The filler is used with a specific density of 3.5 g/cm 3, which is constant up to a temperature of 1300[deg] C. A third slab is cast and pre-rolled. The first and the third slabs are laminarly connected with one another with the second slab arranged between them by roll-bonding. The zones with reduced density are provided with an extension running over the entire thickness of the middle second layer. The composite material is produced with a thickness of 0.5-2.0 mm.
