Magnetic resonance device i.e. magnetic resonance tomograph device, for e.g. imaging brain of patient, has receiving device arranged inside housing, where correlation of radar signals with radar impulse is checked in receiving device
The device has a housing (1) with an opening (2) for accommodating a part of a body of a patient (3). A radar transmitting and receiving device is arranged inside the housing and is provided for transmitting and receiving ultra broadband radar signals. Correlation of the radar signals reflected by the part of the body with transmitted radar impulse is checked in the receiving device to detect a time point for reflected radar impulse, so that detection of changing distance data of reflecting tissue transition into the part of the body is made during magnetic resonance imaging. An independent claim is also included for a method for operating a magnetic resonance device.
