Gas e.g. oxygen, supplying device for use during e.g. non-invasive breathing of spontaneously breathing patient in hospital, has control unit controlling flowrate regulating unit based determined flow rate
The device has a flowrate regulating unit (D) regulating flowrate of gases supplied to a patient (P) via inhalation branches (1, 2). A flow detector (F) is arranged in exhalation branches (3-5). A control unit (S) controls the regulating unit based on determined flow rate. An exhalation valve (E) i.e. passive diaphragm-operated valve, is arranged in the exhalation branches, where airway pressure preset by the control unit is pneumatically transferred to a membrane of the valve. A pressure measuring device (A) is arranged in the inhalation branches.
