Hydrostatic drive system for use in mobile work machine i.e. excavator, has interconnecting device controlled based on pressure difference between highest load pressure of subsystems and designed as two position valve
The drive system (1) has subsystems (2a, 2b) with required-flow controlled pumps (3a, 3b) that are conveyed into supply lines (4a, 4b). An interconnecting device (11) is provided for controlling the connection of the supply line (4a) of the pump (3a) of the subsystem (2a) with the supply line (4b) of the pump (3b) of the subsystem (2b). The device is controlled based on a pressure difference between the highest load pressure of the subsystems. The device is designed as a two position valve (13a) i.e. two-position switching valve, with a locking position (14b) and a connecting position (14a).
