The system (10) has pretreatment stations comprising a dehydration station (12) and a dipping station with an ultrasonic device. The ultrasonic device comprises an ultrasonic source, and a conveyor is provided with the source. The conveyor is formed and arranged in such a manner that parts formed as glossy rotated rims are guided with glossy rotated sides of the parts to the source, at a distance of 15 to 30 centimeters. The ultrasonic source is provided in the form of side transducer or base transducer. An independent claim is also included for a method for pretreatment of white walled rims.
