Towing vehicle for trailer or semi-trailer, has additional steering angle at rear axle of towing vehicle, and additional steering angle is selected out of two categories by selecting mechanism
The towing vehicle (10) has an additional steering angle at a rear axle of the towing vehicle. The additional steering angle is selected out of two categories by a selecting mechanism. The two categories have a backup steering angle in opposite direction to a predetermined steering angle (20) for supporting a driver during maneuvering the towing vehicle. A stabilizing steering angle is provided for stabilizing a reversing of the towing vehicle with a trailer (12) or a semi-trailer. An independent claim is included for a method for supporting a driver during maneuvering the towing vehicle for a trailer or semi-trailer.
