Bleed valve for use in screw plug, has barrier locking advanced movement of valve body, where sealing surface of seal element is deformed such that sealing surfaces are separated from each other and valve is opened
The valve has a spring (11) acting upon a spring-loading valve body (4) in a direction of an arrangement of sealing surfaces. A mechanical lock is locked by a movement of a stopper to a barrier formed by a collar (15) and a hexagonal section (4c) such that the valve is closed by small external over pressure. An elastomer seal element (4f) made of fluoric rubber has one of the sealing surfaces deformed by larger external over pressure such that the sealing surfaces are separated from each other and the valve is opened, where the barrier locks advanced movement of the valve body. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) a screw plug comprising a bleed valve (2) a method for ventilation with a bleed valve.
