Air conditioning device for passenger compartment of motor vehicle, has evaporator, where evaporation and condensation of medium take place in evaporator in integrated manner and air flows around evaporator for air conditioning vehicle
The device has an adsorbent member (1) with an adsorbent, where the member is used for exchanging heat from a fluid i.e. coolant, of an engine cooling circuit. An evaporator (2) is connected with the adsorbent member for exchanging a working medium e.g. methanol, where evaporation and condensation of the medium take place in the evaporator in an integrated manner, and air directly flows around the evaporator for air conditioning a motor vehicle. The fluid is conveyed by an electrical circulation pump. An independent claim is also included for a method for air conditioning a motor vehicle by a device.
