The controller (40) has a pair of inputs (41, 42) for receiving temperature signals from temperature sensors (31, 32). A pair of outputs (47, 48) outputs control signals for a pair of bypass valves (37, 38) respectively, where the control signal controls a portion of fresh air compressed by a compressor (13) and passing through an intercooler (16). Another portion of the compressed fresh air is directed to the intercooler. Control logics (51, 52) produce the control signals based on the temperature signals, respectively.
