The device has a pump assembly (15) with a pump suction opening (16) that is connected to a sludge outlet (10) of a low pressure container (7), where the device is arranged outside a water body. Aerosol outlets (9) are gas-tightly enclosed by a valve housing (23) that is arranged above a switching position, where aerosol blowers (11) have blower suction openings (12) and a blower pressure opening. The housing has valve flaps (24a, 24b, 26) that are opened in a direction of the aerosol and sludge outlets for aerosol and sludge flows and closed against the direction, respectively. An independent claim is also included for a method for cleaning water body.
