Exhaust gas pipe heat radiation surface enlarging method, involves folding metallic strip to bellows of twenty millimeter thickness, and fastening metallic strip around exhaust gas pipe e.g. furnace pipe, as sleeve
The method involves folding a metallic strip to bellows of 20 millimeter thickness, and fastening the metallic strip around an exhaust gas pipe e.g. furnace pipe, as a sleeve. The sleeve is folded like bellows and fastened to the exhaust gas pipe. The sleeve is made of aluminum plate, and the bellows-like folding is formed in a zigzag manner, where the bellow raises and bellow recesses of the foldings run parallel to an axis of the exhaust gas pipe. The folds at beginning and end of the sleeve overlap with each other, and are held with clips. An independent claim is also included for a device for enlarging a heat radiation surface of an exhaust gas pipe, comprising a sleeve.
