Filter for filtration of liquid media including a filter chamber with at least one backflush filter element generally useful for filtration of liquid media can be easily and cost effectively cleaned
Filter for filtration of liquid media including a filter chamber (2) with at least one backflush filter element (3), in the form of a hollow cylindrical filter element with peripheral walls (4) permeable for the medium under filtration. The filter chamber has filtrate discharge (9) and backflow discharge (11) facilities. The filter body of the filter element (3) consists of a stable, porous material, i.e. pure, high density polyethylene granulate melt obtained by sintering. Provision is made for two-stage backflushing of the filter chamber under air pressure.
