The station (11) has multiple electronic components (10) to be controlled or monitored and attached to a housing (14). The housing has a slot (18) formed in outer side for plugging-accommodation of a memory module (19), where the memory module is removable from the slot. The memory module is provided for storing events and device data during operation of the station. The slot is arranged in a recess (17) of the housing, where the slot depth is equal to or greater than height of the memory module.
