Movement controlling method for selection element within matrix-based organized user interface in motor vehicle, involves determining finger movements, determining starting section, and moving selection element within user interface
The method involves determining the finger movements by contact-sensitive input field. The starting section of finger movement detected by the input field, is determined so as to determine spatial direction of finger movement concerning a direction measured variable. The selection direction of motion of a selection element is specified on the basis of the variable. The selection element is moved within a user interface according to extent or amount of speed of continuation of same finger movement in a continuation section following starting section independent of direction of finger movement.
