Banking customer's e.g. online banking customer, electronic information providing method, involves transmitting electronic message e.g. electronic mail, for information about event related to account, to mobile terminal of customer
The method involves activating an electronic service (2) e.g. short message service (SMS) and electronic mail service, by a bank (1) when an event (11) e.g. account movement, related to an account or securities account of a customer (4) occurs. An electronic message (13) e.g. SMS message or electronic mail, for information (14) about the event (11) is transmitted to a mobile terminal (3) e.g. mobile telephone, of the customer by the service. A request for confirmation and rejection of the movement is sent to the service, where the movement exceeds a maximum amount defined by the customer.
