Fuel supply system for heater e.g. vehicle heater, has check valve including non-return valve and spring-prestressed non-return valve, and compensation system changed by change of pressure of liquid fuel
The system (10) has a fuel pump (20) conveying a liquid fuel (14) from a fuel reservoir (16) to a heater (12). A check valve (38) is arranged in a fuel flow path between the fuel pump and heater and prestressed into a closing position. A pressure compensation arrangement (26) is arranged in the fuel flow path between the fuel pump and check valve that comprises a non-return valve. The check valve comprises a spring-prestressed non-return valve. A compensation system (32) is changed by a change of the pressure of the liquid fuel.
