Pressing arrangement for e.g. paper web producing machine, has transfer band for transferring fibrous web between pressing nips, where band is formed by transfer filter band with permeability in range of preset cubic feet per minute
The arrangement (1) has pressing nips (2-4) formed from separate pressing devices (5-7), which are successively arranged in a row. A fibrous web (F) e.g. paper web, is guided between two linings via the nips, where the linings are formed by felt bands and smooth bands (9, 11). The arrangement of the smooth bands to an upper side (13) or a lower side (14) of the web changes between the two nips (3, 4). A transfer band (15) transfers the web between the nips (3, 4), where the band is formed by a transfer filter band (16) with permeability in the range of 80 to 150 cubic feet per minute.
