X-ray fluoroscopy- and intraoperative ultrasound images displaying method for medical device i.e. testing- and treatment device, involves overlaying intraoperative ultrasound images over X-ray fluoroscopy images in real time
The method involves recording of X-ray fluoroscopy images (R) or an image sequence of the X-ray- fluoroscopy images of interested areas of patients. Intraoperative ultrasound images (S-US) of the interested areas of the patients are recorded by a position sensor. Registration of the X-ray fluoroscopy images is implemented with the intraoperative ultrasound images. The X-ray fluoroscopy images and overlaying of the intraoperative images over the X-ray fluoroscopy images are represented on a screen. The ultrasound images are overlaid over the X-ray fluoroscopy images in real time.
