Method for producing filament connection at continuous multi-filament synthetic thread, involves moving counter surface of guiding unit and working surface of sonotrode unit, and continuously guiding thread via ultrasonic connection point
The method involves guiding a thread (1) into an ultrasonic connection point (4) between a working surface (5) of a sonotrode unit (2) and a counter surface (6) of a guiding unit (3). The counter surface of the guiding unit and the working surface of the sonotrode unit are moved independent of each other in a running direction of the thread. The thread is continuously guided through the connection point, where the thread traverses the connection point in a strained condition. The working surface or the counter surface is formed with a rotation symmetric surface structure. An independent claim is also included for a device for producing filament connection to a continuous multi-filament thread.
