PURPOSE: A method and an apparatus for providing a customized service in a broadcasting system and a system thereof are provided to obtain the best user preferences with minimum time when selecting or subscribing to a service or service contents of a user in a system which providing a mobile broadcasting service.;CONSTITUTION: A method for providing a customized service in a broadcasting system comprises the following steps. A BSDA(302) generates a service guide using purchase data fragments. The generated service guide is delivered to a mobile terminal. The mobile terminal requests subscription of a customized service to a BSM(303) by checking a service kind of the service guide. The BSM transmits a subscription response message including information for determining whether to finally select the customized service. An encryption key corresponding to the customized server is transmitted to the mobile terminal.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2010
