IN-PLANE SWITCHING LIQUID CRYSTAL DISPLAY COMPRISING UNIAXIAL RETARDATION FILM WITH NEGATIVE REFRACTIVE PROPERTY AND BIAXIAL RETARDATION FILM WITH POSITIVE REFRACTIVE PROPERTY TO SOLVE THE PROBLEM OF A NARROW VIEWING ANGLE
PURPOSE: An in-plane switching liquid crystal display comprising uniaxial retardation film with negative refractive property and biaxial retardation film with positive refractive property are provided to solve the problem of a narrow viewing angle generated in a low-price IPS-LCD.;CONSTITUTION: The first polar plate, and the order of the liquid crystal cell and the second polar plate are formed sequentially in the backlight unit side. The depth phase difference value(Rth) of the protective film at the liquid crystal cell of the first polar plate(10) is the range of 10 nms or 0 in 589 nm wavelength. The uniaxial phase difference film(40) and negative biaxial retardation film(50) are laminated. The uniaxial phase difference film has the refractive index ratio of -0.1 NZ 0.1. The plane phasecontrast value(R0) is 140 nms or 60 in 589 nm wavelength.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2010
