A method for setting a channel of a multi-channel digital hearing aid adapted for Korean characteristics and a multi-channel digital hearing aid using the same are provided to enhance satisfaction of a user by reflecting Korean characteristics on a hearing aid. A microphone(102) receives voice signals. A filter unit(104) removes signals except for an effective frequency band from the voice signals received through the microphone. An A/D converter(106) converts analog voice signals of the filter unit to digital voice signals. A signal processing unit(110) classifies the digital voice signals according to predetermined channels, adjusts a gain of the digital voice signal of each channel according to gain information, and synthesizes the gain-adjusted digital voice signals. A D/A converter(130) converts the digital voice signals to the analog voice signals. An output unit(132) outputs the analog voice signals.
