IMAGE PROCESSING DEVICE FOR REDUCING JPEG(JOINT PHOTOGRAPHIC CODING EXPERTS GROUP) CAPTURE TIME AND METHOD OF CAPTURING JPEG IN THE SAME DEVICE
An image processing apparatus for performing JPEG capture in an embedded system and a JPEG capture method in the image processing apparatus are provided to shorten JPEG capture time through the image processing apparatus capable of shortening the JPEG capture time, multimedia application used in the image processing apparatus. A back-end unit(200) receives a JPEG(Joint Photographic Coding Experts Group) capture command from a baseband unit(300) and transmits JPEG data, JPEG thumbnail data, and RGB(Red, Green, Blue) data to the baseband unit by using a video buffer and a video controller. The baseband unit transmits the JPEG data, the JPEG thumbnail data, and the RGB data from the back-end unit and transmits display information including the RGB data to a display unit(400). The display unit receives the display information from the baseband unit and displays the received display information.
